Collection area and date
Each batch can be linked to its area and its collection date.
Moisture, particle size, metals, organic matter and calorific value: parameters are tracked, coming soon or provided on request depending on batches and project needs.
Our sargassum is collected in the coastal waters of the French West Indies, before stranding, mainly in Martinique and in Guadeloupe.
The seasonality of strandings varies depending on the Atlantic currents. Sargawatt adapts the volumes offered according to peaks and maintains a dry stock to ensure continuity of supply out of season.
Each delivered lot can be traced back to its collection area and date.
Offshore collection: Sargawatt is also developing offshore collection by 2027 to provide better guarantees of regularity of collection throughout the year.
Our sargassum is dried using a process controlled by renewable energy, to guarantee an environmentally friendly process and minimize CO₂ emissions.
Drying aims to preserve the integrity of the organic matter while guaranteeing residual humidity in compliance with industrial requirements. Post-drying storage and packaging conditions must avoid any moisture recovery or contamination.
Each batch is subject to quality control before shipment. Physico-chemical analyzes can be carried out on request by partner laboratories and the results are provided in the form of a technical sheet per batch.
Each batch can be linked to its area and its collection date.
A quality control is carried out before sending.
Physico-chemical analyzes can be carried out according to the needs of the project.
The requirements vary depending on the uses: biofuel, biomaterials, fertilizers, cosmetics, agritech or R&D. Indicate your need, the volume sought and the constraints of your process so that Sargawatt responds to you with the appropriate technical elements.
